Chickweed Salve, 1 oz Tin, Organic Ingredients

CHICKWEED (Stellaria media) has an excellent reputation for use as an external remedy for skin itching and irritation.  It is often beneficial for eczema or psoriasis irritations.  It has shown to help as an anti-inflammatory treatment for joints and for helping to heal and give relief to skin rashes and eczema.

The chickweed was lovingly harvested by me from my organically grown gardens and was infused in organic, cold pressed, sunflower oil. The salve listed has no added essential oils, but I give the option of added lavender or lavender and tea tree essential oils. The natural herbal scent of the infused chickweed is present in my chickweed salve. The color variations of the finished salve depend on my harvested chickweed and the color or the organic beeswax that is added to make the salve. Chickweed grows here during our winter months and the chickweed oil will be a brighter green while it is freshly picked. My dried chickweed gradually loses some of its color, thus the oil I make is not as green, but is still as strong. I would be happy to add some tea tree or lavender to yours, if desired.  Please let me know if there is a special essential oil which you would like for me to add to your salve.  My salves are handcrafted to order.

This listing is for one one-ounce tin or of my chickweed salve. The small metal tin holds one ounce of my salve and measure 1 7/8 inches in diameter and stands 1 inch high. The tin fits nicely in a pocket or purse.
